As summer gives way to autumn, the leaves of Armenian turn yellow, red, and golden-brown. Like a fairy-tale scene, the world is lit up with golden hues and the falling leaves turn the ground into a colorful tapestry. Autumn is the harvest, with Armenians drying and canning fruit for the looming winter. Each region of Armenian takes pride in its prized apples and apricots and wines. In the autumn, Ararat Valley and Yeghegnadzor showcase their renowned wines. For over 3,000 years, wine making as been an Armenian tradition.
