Anastas Mikoyan (1895-1978) was a revolutionary Bolshevik who miraculously survived and served in the highest positions in the USSR from Lenin through Brezhnev, longer than any other Soviet leader. Newly declassified documents provide amazing new information about his role in the Cuban Missile Crisis.
